Monday 30th August 1574[]
The opening credits fade to our adventurers gathered around the table in The Continental chatting with Elly. She reveals that she defended herself against three men that tried to assault her. She plans to get her revenge once she has recovered.
During the conversation the bar keep presents two letters to Kriv. One is a small package containing a small ceramic bell that will alert Father Robern of the Knights Alar. The second simply reads;
Lets trade. I've info you'll need, you have something I want. VIP at the Mikado Bloom, Netherski.

Kriv doesn't immediately recognize the signature but heads off alone regardless. Knope sneaks out unnoticed to visit an old friend at the barracks nears the grand Tyrian Tower.
Kriv arrives at the Mikado Bloom and upon seeing the man who waiting for him, immediately recognizes him as an old acquaintance Golin. Golin has been employed by the Netherski family to hunt down their hariloom masks. They hold some political symbolism and are valuable to the Netherski. He offers to trade information about the man Kriv is hunting down, Wik. The two come to a compromise. Kriv will give the masks to Golin in exchange for the bounty hunters help in combat.
Knope makes it to the keep through a guarded checkpoint without trouble and quickly finds his old friend Jackson tidying up after a busy breakfast in the barracks. Knope tells Jackson that his journey to their memorial toward Brookshear was successful, though on the way back he crossed paths with a large group of travelers without faces. Jackson hadn't heard of anything like it, and promised to keep an ear out for related information.
The group meet up again back at the continental and decide to make a quick visit to Robern. Back at the Knights Alar compound, Robern is visibly frustrated at the visitors and makes it clear he does not like having his time wasted. Our adventurers take the message and leave to go meet up with Twelve Toes.
A short time later the team are back underground but can't find Twelve Toes. They investigate a hidey hole at the back of her makeshift room though find it empty. As they are investigating, Twelve Toes appears behind the squad voicing her surprise at toward the visitors. They prompt her about the deal made the previous night where she would lead them to where some of her kids had disappeared. Kriv asks the skittish woman "there's something your hiding here woman, tell us the truth!" her reaction to which is just to freeze, not sure whether to fight or flee as Krivs questioning hits close to a secret she never expected to be threatened. Knope and the other diffuse the situation quckly and Twelve Toes sends one of her children, Mikel to lead them through the underground passages.
Mikel pauses near an exit and explains to the party that just beyond this exit is the last place the missing children where found. The team exit the sewer and find themselves behind a large building. They scope their immediate surroundings before ducking back inside to discuss their tactics.
Cadence has recently mastered an invisibility spell, which she casts on Kriv, then he and Knope leave to investigate the area unseen. The two quickly find the area to be heavily guarded. Large ware houses meet one side of garden which is surrounded by homes on all other sides. It is at this point that Kriv recognizes that this is the same area where he used to live. Stunned and confused as to what the people of Jovriest might be doing here, ha and Knope continue to search. On the far end of the garden stands a monument of a woman. She is holding a downward pointed dagger and has a butterfly resting on one ear. The pair recognize this as a monument of Jovriest, who would manifest herself as a butterfly and whisper promises of power to pregnant women that sacrificed their unborn children.
Realizing the scope of the operation here, the two head back to meet with the others inside the sewer entrance to discuss tactics. They are heavily outnumbered and will need to think creatively to find out what happened to the missing kids and hopefully find a lead to Thom or even the leaders of the Jovriest people.
